Cara Delevingne: Accept me as an actress
It’s a paper town – and now, digitally so.
“Paper Towns” star Cara Delevingne has shared a piece of information that might make fans of John Green’s book swoon.
Not only does the new video highlight the relevance (and, though it goes without saying, sheer badassery) of Sam Bruno’s soundtrack song “Search Party”, but it also teaches us a keen little vocabulary lesson.
Delevingne was speaking to Britain’s OK! magazine, when she explained, “I have five movies coming out this year, which is really exciting, so you don’t really have a choice but to accept me as an actress now!“.
Each trailer we see just gets us more and more excited for July 24 to roll around.
All of that changes one night when Margo shows up at Quentin’s window seeking his help to extract revenge on her not so loyal friends. The next day Margo mysteriously disappears, and the smitten Quentin becomes obsessed with finding her, convinced she has left him clues to follow.
The 22-year-old model and actress opened up for the first time about her relationship with singer St. Vincent in the U.S. tome last month, and the interview quickly came under fire with critics claiming the author was dismissive of Cara’s sexuality. The film is structurally and visually conventional with the odd glimmer of indie quirk in the soundtrack and a low-key exploration of the social and sexual pressures of teenage life. Or I used to write love letters a lot.
