Republican debate: When and where to watch on November 10
Who will be in each debate? Fiorina, John Kasich, Trump and Rubio all spoke for more than their fair share of time, if you believe each candidate should have had equal time. In the early event are Chris Christie, Bobby Jindal, Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum.
Numerous candidates seeking the Republican nomination in the presidential race will be in Milwaukee later tonight, for the latest debate in the 2016 campaign season.
For the first time this cycle, Tuesday’s prime-time Republican debate in Milwaukee will feature just eight candidates from the unusually large field.
The debate is created to focus on economic issues, but Bartiromo said potential presidents must prove themselves adept at addressing a wide range of issues. As a result of new criteria established by Fox Business, only eight GOP hopefuls qualified for the main debate, offering each of them more time to make the case for their candidacies.
Both debates will broadcast on the Fox Business Network cable news network, which can be found on certain subscription packages.
There is no denying the fact that tonight’s GOP debate will have a very different look.
Ben Carson and Marco Rubio, trying mightily to survive and thrive in the unrelenting spotlight that surging presidential candidates must endure, face a huge new test at Tuesday’s Republican debate. The four lower scoring candidates will participate in the undercard debate at 7 p.m. ET. “Fox Business News and the Wall Street Journal will want to distinguish themselves from CNBC, which in its debate focused on personality issues and tried to incite conflict between the candidates”.
This time around there will be fewer candidates on stage. Marco Rubio-the emerging leader in the establishment lane-has been confronted by lingering questions about his personal finances and his use of a Republican Party charge card in Florida a decade ago. Sixteen states plus Washington, D.C. have hosted a GOP debate in the past or plan to host one this primary cycle.
As with the previous three debates, the participants for the Milwaukee debate were selected based on a cross-section of national polls.
