Shia LaBeouf is watching #ALLMYMOVIES
He won’t be alone as he watches film after film at Angelika Film Center in NY, members of the public have been invited to join him.
The event was being live streamed by New Hive, an online art platform, as part of a few sort of performance that LeBeouf has developed a reputation for doing over the past couple of years.
Have you ever wanted to watch all of Shia LaBeouf’s movies in one sitting with the actor? No? But all the better for your mind to wander to questions like, What, exactly, constitutes a Shia LaBeouf joint?
“Nymphomaniac” star Shia LaBeouf’s movies finally have the flawless captive audience – Shia LaBeouf himself. There was no line to deal with, just a lecture on photos not being allowed and a quick metal detector wanding. “It is actually somewhat of an interesting idea to force yourself to watch yourself be other people for three days straight”. Watching the stream is oddly soothing, but that’s probably because we don’t actually have to see the movies. Even more enticing for all you LaBeouf diehards out there -Holes forever, baby!- is that admission is free.
“I think it’s so interesting the way Shia’s reclaiming his career”, enthused Erik Rogers, himself a performance artist who had hustled down to the Angelika after seeing Gothamist’s tweet.
If you said yes to this, you might need help, but you’re also in luck. The latest piece of art the Transformers actor is paying homage to? At this point, we never know where this estranged thespian will pop up next.
