Jindal attacks Huckabee over economy
Christie decided not to punch back.
“The vetting that you all did with President Obama doesn’t even come close, doesn’t even come close to what you guys are trying to do in my case, and you’re just going to keep going back, “He said this 12 years ago” – it is just garbage”, Carson told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on Friday. “The differences between me and Bobby Jindal?”. “Hillary Clinton was asked the enemy she’s most proud of and she said Republicans”.
“Don’t worry about Huckabee and Jindal – worry about her”, Christie said. Rick Santorum and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. (A Quinnipiac University poll conducted last month found that slightly more people knew Christie than Mike Huckabee.) He dominated on Facebook, for what that’s worth – but people watching at home wanted to know more about Jindal and Santorum. Chris Christie promised to hack the Chinese and reveal their information to the American people.
“Let’s not just beat Hillary, let’s elect a conservative to the White House, not just any Republican”, Jindal said, arguing that the GOP shouldn’t be “a second liberal party”.
While Republicans gave Christie positive marks on every issue tested – including leadership qualities, economics issues, education and the state budget – he still only placed fourth on Republicans’ presidential wish list, with 8 percent support.
“I really wasn’t surprised”, DuHaime explained. When Jindal responded with another criticism of Christie’s performance in New Jersey, Christie was ready with a get-a-load-of-this-guy aside to the audience: “I complimented Bobby – imagine how much time he’d want if I actually criticized him”. “Jindal probably had a big night”.
The main event is scheduled for 9 p.m., while the “undercard” debate will begin at 7 p.m.
The debate in Milwaukee featured four candidates for president who are at the bottom of opinion polls and did not qualify for the main debate occurring later on Tuesday.
Two undercard mainstays, Lindsey Graham and George Pataki, missed the polling cut for this round, since they failed to get 1% in recent polls. I said, “What are your concerns?”
Christie also received huge applause striking combative tones towards China, pledging to fly Air Force One over artificial islands built the authoritarian regime in the South China Sea and noting that Chinese cyber-attacks against the United States meant that his social security number had stolen.
“There are tens of millions of Americans living that way after the worst recovery from an economic recession since World War II”. Let’s cut government spending. Get rid of all the special interest deductions. “I’ve never had a problem, as you know, Stave, at making an impression”.
Christie however seemed caught off guard when the Louisiana governor went after him.
