One Direction debuts new song
“Love You Goodbye “is the latest in a line of Made in the A.M. songs such as “Drag Me Down”, “Infinity”, “History”, “Perfect” and “End of the Day”.
Bradford’s Zayn Malik may have left One Direction this year, but the remaining four boy band members, including Louis Tomlinson from Doncaster, have held onto their position at the top of Britain’s Under-30s Rich List. “Even though it’s over, you should stay the night/If tomorrow you won’t be mine/Won’t you give it to me one last time/Oh, baby let me love you goodbye”.
One fan tweeted “DONT BUY THE ALBUM. RESPECT THEM #NoPlayPURPOSEandMITAM”, on his Twitter account. The album drops on Friday (Nov. 13).
The novel, written under Rowling’s pen name Robert Galbraith, follows detective Cormoran Strike and features a young girl who imagines she is dating One Direction’s Niall Horan. It sets the pace for other previously released highlights including flawless, an alleged Taylor Swift kiss-off and exemplary pop anthem, and Long Way Down, whose alternating harmonies make the mawkish chorus nearly forgivable. “It was one of those moments that, when the song was starting to come together, you felt a real excitement for it. I remember us sitting together in that room and it coming together”. And while their breakup (or “hiatus”) seemed somewhat inevitable, “Made in the A.M.” sounds like a group of guys that are very much basking in all their pop glory.
The 24-year old singer songwriter has sold over 705,000 copies of his hit album “X” this year and sold out three nights at Wembley Stadium.
