Spoiler* Brothers Of Destruction Survivor Series Match Revealed
– The Wyatt Family kicked off the show throwing down the gauntlet for the Brothers of Destruction.
The WWE was still overseas in the United Kingdom as “SmackDown” taped its latest show, which featured The Undertaker.
As the weeks progressed, it became apparent that WWE wasn’t planning on giving Undertaker and Kane two other partners, and it was rumored that the Brothers of Destruction would be forced to take on the entire Wyatt Family in a two-on-four handicap match at Survivor Series.
The Wyatts’ presence on “SmackDown” continued as Braun Strowman defeated Fandango in a quick match. Neville won the match as Barrett was still bombarded with “Rooney” chants after soccer player Wayne Rooney slapped him last “Monday Night Raw”.
Roman Reigns cut a promo with Renee Young, revealing that not being a sellout is the reason he turned down The Authority on Raw. Undertaker appeared and looked ready to fight. That’s when Undertaker came out, choke slammed him, and Tombstoned him.
– Neville def. King Barrett to advance in the WWE world heavyweight title tournament. While the promo on Rooney occurred off-air, it was not indicated whether Undertaker’s appearance in front of the crowd would air or not. Definitely showing Ryback’s strength and Kalisto’s agility, both men remained as faces and shook hands.
Surprisingly, Kalisto defeats Ryback to advance to the quarterfinals.
– Alberto Del Rio def. Stardust to advance in the WWE world heavyweight title tournament. He is scheduled to face Cesaro next Monday. Also announced for later was Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. The Usos.
– What was earlier thought to be a traditional Survivor Series 4 on 4 elimination tag team match involving the Undertaker, Kane and the Wyatts may not be the case as there were a few huge developments on Smackdown.
After Bray Wyatt and the rest of the Wyatt Family attacked Undertaker following his classic Hell in a Cell match with Brock Lesnar, many believed that WWE would team Undertaker up with three partners, one of them obviously being Kane, and have Undertaker’s team of four take on the Wyatt Family at Survivor Series.
“WWE SmackDown” airs weekly on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on SyFy.
