JJ Abrams teams with Shadow Complex dev on espionage strategy Spyjinx, uses
A quick look around Spyjinx’s newly-launched website reveals the silhouettes of a handful of cartoony characters, which might suggest we’re in for a quite light-hearted game rather than something mean and moody.
The game’s official blurb states that it will mix strategy with RPG-style character building in a world centred on espionage.
There is no gameplay footage available just yet, but considering Geoff Keighley is the interviewer in the video below, perhaps players will get their first peek at this year’s Game Awards?
The director and his Bad Robot production company are getting into games, and he’s not alone. Over two years ago, we met with the geniuses at ChAIR in the hopes of collaborating with them. Mustard added that since the game is being made in Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, it may potentially wind up on other platforms as well. The result has been something beyond any of our expectations.
