Young Thug Backtracks Metro Boomin Criticisms
“Moral of the story is, putting out 5 tapes in a year won’t make you heat up like Future”, he says. That was just his path. It’s not for everyone.
What are your thoughts on Metro’s “Quality music over the quantity” statement? “Put a few names on that s- lil boy”, he tweeted the rapper.
In case there was any ambiguity, Thug punctuated the discussion by retweeting a Twitter user who had written, “RIP metro thuggin“.
“I think if you guys were to stop drinking so much cheap liquor and high-tech syrup you would be able to think before speaking and typing”, the rapper added.
He continued by referring to himself as the late King of Pop while “he”, who is probably pointed at Metro Boomin, is another Jackson 5 member.
Future didn’t explicitly call him out in the initial tweet, but Thug responded anyway, prompting the “Jumpman” rapper to fire off more tweets.
“A nigga music couldn’t ever sound nowhere near mines”, he writes.
Young Thug and Metro Boomin make a few of their best music when they’re together. Thugger told Metro he could continue to ride Future’s d*ck as long as it doesn’t agitate other rappers. Young Thug has a history of taking his beefs to the extreme. Metro has no known struggle with the addictive drink and as far as we know, Young Thug was just trying to throw insults at the producer.
