Thousands gather for Veterans Day celebration in downtown Dallas

“You ask a lot of a civilian soldier when you ask them to go over here and be a soldier and fight for your country and then come home and try to pick up a life”, Kennison said.

That’s why the Vietnam Veterans of America in Northwest Montana want to help those who are still around, while they’re around. Many could be seen wearing red, white and blue as a way to say thank you for veterans’ hard work and sacrifice.
