Cuomo Plans to Raise State Worker Pay to $15 an Hour

The increase will be phased in the same way as the fast food worker wage increase, fully taking effect in 2021.
The decision to increase wages for public sector workers followed a decision by NY State to set the minimum wage for fast food workers at 15 dollars an hour.
