1D’s Niall makes appearance in Rowling’s book

JK Rowling has pulled a master move in getting teenagers to read her crime novels by referencing boyband One Direction in new book Career of Evil.
Revealing his anticipation for the record’s release, Payne told Radio Eska: “It’s a nervy time because you put your heart and soul into it, then when it’s finally coming out it’s just the most exciting thing ever. Niall. Honestly.” Her eyes leaked more tears. “The band. They’re a band that came third on The X Factor”, Hazel says.
Career of Evil is the third book in Rowling’s Cormoran Strike series, following on from The Cuckoo’s Calling and The Silkworm.
