‘Duck Dynasty’ Star: David Vitter ‘Made a few Mistakes, But Who Hasn’t?’
I know he’s made a few mistakes, but who hasn’t.
Vitter then ties his past scandal to the state’s future.
“If there’s any doubt that Election Day is gonna be an exciting one, we’ve got a hot governor’s race with polling numbers that no one could have predicted, and we’ve got a really hot lieutenant governor’s race as well. I’m concerned about our state”.
It’s a back-and-forth between Vitter and Chambers on his ad about the 5,500 crooks John Bel Edwards pledged to spring from Louisiana’s prisons, and Chambers tries to take him to task for it. According to the political website Hayride.com, Edwards leads with 48% to Vitter’s 42.
The Market Research poll gives Edwards a seven-point edge over Vitter, while the UNO poll has Vitter trailing the Democrat by 22 points.
In the UNO survey of 600 voters, 56% said they would vote for Edwards, versus 34% for Vitter. “And you need to grow a better beard”, Willie Robertson says.
In response, Stephen Handwerk, executive director of the Louisiana Democratic Party said: “The governorship of Louisiana is not a reality TV show”. “The choice for integrity and honesty is clear”.
Members of the “Duck Dynasty” family have gotten involved in Louisiana politics before.
Willie Robertson has also been a longtime supporter of Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal.
