An 8-year-old boy has been airlifted to MUSC after an incident in Holly Hill Wednesday morning that left two adults and two other children dead, authorities say.
Marshall said three victims were found in bedrooms in the brown, single-story house nestled behind a stand of tall pines.
The victims were identified as Krystal Hutto, 28; Shamekia Sanders, 17; and Tamara Perry, 14; as mentioned by Orangeburg County Coroner Samuetta Marshall.
A search for a auto that had been seen at the home “on many occasions” turned up the vehicle, burned out, about 15 miles away, the sheriff said.
SLED and Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene of the incident.
Ravenell said they all appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.
