‘Torn’ Cover by One Direction Brings Back Emotions!

One Direction were left with “goosebumps” after they performed an emotional cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s single Torn on BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge. Yes, they’re without Zayn this time around, but they still sound as wonderful as they ever have. You know? The song they sang multiple times on The X-Factor and still makes us melt into a puddle? When introducing the song, Niall Horan admitted that their upcoming performance – the first since that X Factor gig – gave him chills.

First, they performed a lovely rendition of Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s collaboration, “FourFiveSeconds”, but they really punched loyal Directioners right in the feels with their second selection: “Torn”. “That was wonderful”, Liam Payne said as soon as the band wrapped the song.

“It was hard because there’s a lot of Live Lounges and we wanted to do something that wasn’t what we’d normally do and there’s a surprise….” & now One Direction is the newest to provide us a terrific cover song!
