The 2017 Jaguar F-Type Just Got A Nice Little Price Cut
Though the MSRPs haven’t been released yet, the 2017 Jaguar F-Type lineup will once again include the F-Type S, the F-Type S AWD, and the F-Type R, alongside the entry-level offerings.
A little over $60K will not only get you Jaguar’s iconic styling, but its supercharged 340 HP V6 paired to a six-speed manual transmission (yes, this one’s for the drivers out there.) If you want, you can pair it with an automatic transmission, but why would you want to do that anyways.
Despite that, Jaguar’s 2017 line-up will go on to feature the F-Type, F-Type S and the top of the range F-Type R model, while the price reduction will serve to improve the car’s competitive value, as will the increased standard equipment levels. The new derivatives come standard with a fixed metal roof in the coupe configuration and a new 6-way adjustable partially electric seat, as well as new standard features such as a valet mode and solar attenuating windshield glass.
The F-Type was Jaguar’s first true sports auto in a generation, and the legendary firm hit it out of the park.
The F-TYPE continues to come standard with important features such as the Meridian™ 770W surround sound audio system, navigation, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, leather and suedecloth finished sport seats and Jaguar InControl Apps™. That’s about $3,600 less than the previous base model.
Lowering the introductory price for the luxury sports vehicle, the Jaguar F-Type coupe will start from $62,395 including destination, while the convertible will be priced at $66,395 when they arrive USA showrooms starting spring 2016.
Jaguar’s 2017 F-Type lineup includes two new entry-level models: a $61,400 Coupe and new $65,400 Convertible.
