‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2′ director defends Bradley Cooper

Luckily, it seems that all of those elements will be back in full force for the sequel, as GoTG director James Gunn is exclusively responsible for both the script and the soundtrack, both of which are already finished.

Speaking of the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, there has been a lot of hullabaloo about the identity of Peter Quill’s (aka Star Lord) father, as it has been on the minds of Guardians fans since the first installment made it big past year. “Dark Lord, the main guy”, Cooper, who voices the character Rocket Raccoon, stated.

It is possible that Bradley Cooper didn’t reveal anything just yet as he just have received the script and is yet to be read, IB Times reported.

Bradley Cooper was doing press for his movie “Burnt” and during an interview with MTV, it seemed that the actor spilled a major plot point regarding “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”. In the interview, Cooper talks about Josh Brolin, and says that he is “whats-his-name’s-dad”. Gunn started to shut down the rumors when he first posted, “I would say the epitome of jumping the shark was when Fonzie jumped the shark”.Gunn added that his explanation may sound “non-eventful” but he is only telling “the truth”.

First up, fans should know that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will not hint on anything leading to “Infinity Wars” according to the director”. If you know the first film, then you will realize quickly that Cooper is most definitely talking about Ronan.

“James Gunn is such a great writer”. No wonder Marvel can’t wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2, ” he shared. At the same time, Diesel did let fans in on a little secret about the script, which, of course, has something to do with dancing.

Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 is scheduled to hit theaters everywhere on May 5, 2017.
