Four UH campuses named Military Friendly Schools
Selection criteria include the strength of the company’s military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs and company policies that encourage and support National Guard and Reserve servicemen and women. Fox serves as a liaison for veterans and their dependents, assisting in obtaining benefits from the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs.
LHI, which has more than 1,000 employees, including about 150 temporary workers, has a stated goal of having veterans and military spouses account for 20 percent of its workforce by 2017.
