This double wedding basically consisted of only identical twins
Dinker, 32, said he had just one regret about the wedding, in which both couples had identical twin bride maids and pageboys, in Thrissur, Kerala State on India’s west coast – there weren’t enough twins present!
From the wedding gowns, shawls and jewelry the brides wore, to the hair styles and suits of the grooms, everything was identical.
In an unusual occurrence, two twin grooms end up marrying brides who also happened to be twins.
We all know Kerala weddings are stuff of sattire, simply because numerous weddings are high on gold, fancy silk sarees and a whole entourage of BMWS; but then this one was different.
The ceremony also included identical twin page boys (like our ringbearers) named Henry and Hendri and identical twin flower girls named Asna and Ansa. They searched five years, placing ads in newspapers and online, and eventually found Reema and Reena through a few kind of “marriage portal”. “Fortunately, they also had the similar feeling after meeting us”.
We had to keep searching the suitable boys for three years in a row. “It was a wonderful experience”, Reena said.
