A 12-Year-Old Girl ‘Raped for 43000 times’ in 4 years
Speaking more indepth about her tragic journey, Jacinto told the news channels ” I believe I was raped at least 43,200 times by 30 men everyday for four years”.
She was just 12-years-old when a trafficker, 10-years her senior, targeted her and lured her away with initial kindness and a fast vehicle.
“I was forced to serve every kind of fetish imaginable to more than 40,000 clients”, she told the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Africa, global health, global human rights and worldwide organisations. He was ten years older and showered her in gifts, making her feel like a princess.
The way she described, if another person would be in her position – then they would have died. Jacinto was unable to escape and admitted men laughed at her tears.
She told CNN that she started working at 10 in the morning and wrapped her shift up at around midnight.
At 23, Jacinto has become an outspoken advocate against human trafficking, recounting her experiences at conferences and public events. “They told the officers they were minors and nobody paid attention”, Karla says.
When she gave birth aged 15, the pimp father of her child said he would kill the baby if she did not do everything he wanted.
Ms Jacinto was rescued in 2006 during an anti-trafficking operation in Mexico City.
Karla Jacinto said she was barely five when she was handed her first inhumane dose of sexual abuse.
In one instance, she was viciously attacked by her trafficker after a man gave her a hickey.
Narrating her ordeal to CNN, Jacinto claimed that she was sexually assaulted by around 30 men in a single day for 4 years.
‘I lived with him for three months during which he treated me very well, ‘ she told CNN. He was no longer her boyfriend and was instead her trafficker, her pimp. Jacinto has been sharing her story in an attempt to raise awareness about the horrific trade that continues to affect girls and women around the world.
From the girl forced into prostitution at a gas station or a tourist stripped of his passport and held against his will- Human Trafficking is real.
It didn’t take her long to realize the trap she had landed herself in and soon her trafficker started instructing her.
Despite a life of scars, she has met the Pope and US Congress as she uses her story to support the development of a law called HR 515 – or Megan’s Law – which means USA authorities have to share information about American child sex offenders when they try to travel overseas.
Karla warned: “These minors are being abducted, lured, and yanked away from their families”.
