Fire Emblem Fates’ Two Versions, Special Edition Detailed
Fire Emblem: Fates will be released on February 19, 2016.
Building on the successful gameplay foundation established in Awakening, Fates seems to be a more ambitious title, considering that it will be split into three different campaigns that are essentially completely different games.
Fire Emblem: Fates can be purchased either as the Birthright version or the Conquest version, depending on which story you want to play. By purchasing one of the two main games at a suggested retail price of $39.99 – Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright or Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest – either at retail locations or in the Nintendo eShop starting February 19, players choose to embark on a unique quest with a different story and different experiences. A 3rd DLC story, Revelation, will be available later to those who own one or both already. It will be available for $79.99. This Special Edition will contain a cartridge with all three paths, a special pouch that can hold up to a New Nintendo 3DS XL, and an artbook. Owners of either version will be able to purchase the other version at US$20.
We’ve been wondering how this three-part Fire Emblem game would work outside of Japan.
