Man arrested for murder of 82-year-old woman in Scarborough
Toronto police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to the death of an 82-year-old grandmother in Scarborough.
According to police, 21-year-old Sinbad Marshall has been arrrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case.
Police found Tetsos’s body on Wednesday afternoon when they were called to her home on Elfreda Blvd., in the Birchmount Rd. and St. Clair Ave.
Homicide detectives previously said that the elderly woman was a well-respected member of her community.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
It looks like Marshall has had at least one other brush with criminal activity in the past.
Witnesses at the scene told 680 NEWS that police officers showed them a broken window, and said someone may have broken into the home.
Marshall fled, and has been wanted by police ever since. The homeowner returned, a struggle ensued, and the owner sustained serious injuries.
