German football team evacuated from Paris hotel after bomb threat
The hotel had been reserved for the German team ahead of their game in Paris.

The hotel was evacuated, but the players and technical staff have now returned to their accommodation as their attention returns to Friday’s match against France.
The bomb threat was made against the Hotel Molitor in the 16th Arrondisement, Bierhoff told the Kölner Express.
The Hotel Molitor said an anonymous caller phoned in the threat at 9.50am local time (9.50pm NZT). and that members of Germany’s squad, who were to face France later on Friday, and all other guests were immediately evacuated. “We didn’t want to take any chances so in consultation with the French authorities, we left the hotel”.
Speaking to the DPA news agency, German Football Association security officer Hendrik Grosse Lefert added: “A further statement from the French police informed us that an anonymous bomb threat has been received”.
“Die Mannschaft came for a little visit in Roland Garros this morning. Together with my colleagues, we chose to try to evacuate the hotel at short notice in order to allow them to check all the rooms and function rooms”.
