Hillary Clinton registers for NH primary, knocks Trump on SNL
I just signed papers saying I’m a Democrat.
Asked whether she is too close to Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street special interests to “reel them in”, Clinton replied that “anybody who thinks that they can influence what I can do doesn’t know me very well”. Clinton then jumped in and said, “I wouldn’t mess with you!” That was – Hillary Clinton took a little while to get there.
Clinton again Monday declined to criticize her chief rival, Bernie Sanders, but did repeatedly say she is a longtime Democrat. “It seemed like the other candidates wanted to accomplish something else”.
Americans need a choice in our democracy.
She is, though, subtly shifting slightly left on a few issues so as to not be the outlier in the Democratic field.
Sanders is not a registered Democrat because there is no party registration in Vermont, but has always been a vocal independent who has often taken positions counter to the Democratic establishment.

Clinton said in an interview with MSNBC last month that the scandal involving chronic delays for veterans seeking medical care or seeking to have their claims processed had not been “as widespread” as suggested, and accused Republicans of politicizing the agency.
“I think we have the opportunity through the states that are pursuing recreational marijuana on it to find more than we know today.”
“So, yeah, I want people to be responsible”. “Bernie had a long way to catch up to Hillary Clinton with his messaging”.

Martin O’Malley speaks at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner on October 24, 2015 in Des Moines, Iowa.
There is a reason Clinton is making this pitch in SC: African-Americans made up 56% of the Democratic primary electorate in 2008 and any candidate seeking to win the state in 2016 will have to win the black vote. When the Clinton-Sanders back-and-forth happened, I wondered aloud (I talk to myself a lot) whether he had been misunderstood, whether accidentally or, more likely, on goal, by Clinton. He also chastised Clinton for approaching policy with “poll-tested triangulation”.
On the Republican side, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush – who was polling in fifth place among GOP candidates Monday – had the most congressional endorsements, with 17. But she held firm against sending in American soldiers.
Surrounded by high-known New Hampshire supporters, Clinton signed the form declaring her candidacy in New Hampshire and paid the $1,000 filing fee. I simply do not trust President Clinton to veto Keystone legislation.
Clinton is trying to tie herself to Obama in this state – where the president remains extremely popular – but, as she regularly says, is noting that she will not be his third term.
