Dwyane Wade: There will never be another Kobe Bryant

The Lakers are not now in the state where someone like Kobe would want to stay a couple more years.

The sudden desire to play next summer could be due to him leaning towards retiring after this season, but he has yet to make a final decision stating that he is leaving the door open to possibly extending his career past his 20th season.

Lakers head coach Byron Scott didn’t consider putting D’Angelo Russell back in during the fourth quarter of the loss, and Russell won’t have an easier time being corralled by both Elfrid Payton and Victor Oladipo.

“His feeling was: ‘You know, Coach, this might be my a year ago”.

He had received a similar welcome in Brooklyn two nights earlier, but the cheers resonated even more in Madison Square Garden, where he played his first National Basketball Association All-Star Game in 1998 and where he scored a stunning 61 points against the Knicks on Feb 2, 2009.

“I’ve been pretty consistent with that, so I don’t know how much, what else can I say?”When Carmelo Anthony was asked about Bryant, Anthony stated “I wouldn’t count him out”, Anthony said”.

Personally, I have a hunch that it’s not over for Kobe, and that he’ll get things figured out at a few point and be a reasonably effective 37-year-old basketball player.

“Do I really want to go to the gym and lift weights this morning?” he said. Another part of me says team US should add Kobe to the roster because he is a great leader and could help the young guys a lot.

I bet you never thought you’d see a Kobe Bryant finger roll airball. “Whatever happens, happens”, ESPN reported. Previously, Bryant passed on the chance to play for the country when he said that he would not be playing for Rio.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Miami Heat 101-88 in a game that remained competitive for the first half and anything but by the final whistle. Although his NBA career may be ending, Bryant may continue to play basketball if given the opportunity to play for Team United States of America in the 2016 Olympics.

He has been instrumental in helping the US bag the last two championships of the tournament at the 2008 Beijing Games and 2012 London Games. Kobe said that it would mean the world to him to do it again, for one last time.
