DU confirms safety of study-abroad students in France
In the video, students take turns talking about their situation and sharing their grief over what has happened since reports of terror attacks in Paris started flooding in Friday evening.
The University of MI has confirmed that 13 students and five faculty members are in France. It is not clear where exactly in France they all are, said Rick Fitzgerald, a university spokesman. They have made contact with the all of the students, who are unharmed.
French officials say the death toll in attacks at six sites around Paris could exceed 120.
“Your heart goes out to all the people who weren’t as lucky and who were in the area”.

“We will continue to stay in contact and provide them whatever support they need”.
One of the students is located in Paris, the others are in other parts of France.
Asbury’s Paris campus is just minutes away from where one of the attacks on Friday occurred.
Of that group, eight students are in Paris studying at three different schools, SDSU said.
Eleanor Daugherty, UConn associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students, said her staff spoke with the UConn students in Paris Saturday morning, who “sound pretty exhausted”. He said there are 64 students total in Europe. Though, Elizabethtown global student Samuel Michel says being in America and seeing the footage was hard.
He quickly started scouring the internet for more information and he said his first reaction was panic.
