Cuomo heightens security alerts after Paris attacks

In Pennsylvania, Gov. Tom Wolf’s office said Philadelphia police had increased security and that the public could see heightened security measures elsewhere in the state due to the attacks in Paris. “The safety of New Yorkers and our state’s visitors is our number one priority, and we are remaining vigilant and in close contact with local and federal officials and our partner law enforcement agencies”.
Police have stressed there is “no indication that the attack has any nexus to NY City”.

Additional uniformed and plainclothes Metropolitan Transportation Authority officers will be located at Penn Station, Grand Central Terminal and other major stations serving the Metro-North Railroad and Long Island Rail Road network.
Law enforcement agencies in New Jersey will be on heightened alert Sunday after the deadly terror attacks in Paris, but officials reported no credible threats in the state.
