Grant HS football player killed, another injured in shooting
One Grant Union High School football was killed and another was injured in a shooting not far from campus Friday, Sacramento police said.
Sgt. Bryce Heinlein says five members of the Grant football team were returning to school from the Northridge Shopping Center at about 3:30.

Senior Jaulon Clavo, who attended Grant High School, was shot in the neck while getting food off-campus with four friends, the Sacramento Bee reported.
There has been no official confirmation as to when the game will be rescheduled. The victor will play next Friday. “I can’t imagine what it’s like to have that happen and go through it”.
