How to watch the Democrats duke it out online
Republicans are upset at CBS News anchor John Dickerson for meeting in secret with representatives from the three surviving Democratic presidential campaigns in advance of Saturday’s primary debate.
Hillary Clinton will nearly certainly remain at the center of the debate, and the dynamic between her and Bernie Sanders, in particular, will be closely scrutinized.
CBS is making the debate available on-air, online, over the radio and offer a few streaming options.
CBS news is also going to partner with Twitter on the Democratic debate, with the official hashtag for the event being #DemDebate. The moderators are John Dickerson, anchor of the CBS News’s “Face the Nation”; Nancy Cordes, the CBS News congressional correspondent; Kevin Cooney, an anchor for KCCI-TV in Des Moines; and Kathie Obradovich, political columnist at The Des Moines Register.
‘We would never dream of having a debate moderator from any network give us a verbal crib sheet before a debate, ‘ a senior aide to one of the Republican front-runners told DailyMail.com on Friday in Orlando.
It’ll be the second debate in the party’s nominating schedule so far. At 8:30 p.m. ET, coverage of the debate begins and the run time is until 11:00 p.m. ET.
TVNewser will live blog the debate-and the media reaction-tomorrow night. To watch the debate via mobile or on your tablet, you can download the app by clicking here.
