Verizon is offering the iPad Pro through its $44 a month plan for 24 months.

“The early response to iPad Pro from app developers and our customers has been incredible, and we’re excited to get iPad Pro into the hands of customers around the world this week”, said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

Apple first announced its larger-screen tablet computer – the iPad Pro – back in September.

Even though the iPad Pro is a big device, it is still pretty easy to carry at 1.57 pounds and it is thin.

While Mossberg’s reaction was a mixed one, Joanna Stern calls iPad Pro as jack of all trades and master of most. Flash forward to the present and CNN’s review of the iPad Pro included finite detailed artwork created by Nikolai Lockertsen using the new Apple Pencil.

A few apps straight up don’t work.

As I’m sure Cook is aware, iPad sales are steadily dropping like an anchor making its way to the ocean floor.

The iPad Pro is a large 12.9-inch tablet; one of the largest to come out, rivaling the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which is also a large one at 12.3 inches screen size.

It is clear that the iPad Pro will offer the best of both worlds, so mobile gamers will enjoy it, as will those that need to use it for productivity reasons – just wish the price was that bit lower.

In Tim Cook’s view, the Surface Book is sort of diluted without any real identity either as a tablet or as a notebook. Technically it is, but it is a completely different beast what with a processor that apparently rivals the MacBooks and also with support for accessories like the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. It is also available in a wide variety of colors and can even function as a stand for the device. As of this writing, the keyboard won’t be in stock for three or four weeks.
