After a Giants punt the Patriots appeared ready to put the game away, driving from their own 19-yard line to the Giants’ 5-yard line. Tom Brady completed 26 of 39 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns against one interception. In receiving, Odell Beckham led in receiving with 105 yards in nine catches. Rashad Jennings led in rushing with 48 yards in 13 carries. A fired-up “D” held the Patriot offense to a three-and-out on its next possession, held the Pats to a field goal on the possession after that.

The Patriots opened the game with a 14-play, 80-yard touchdown drive that took 8:20 and resulted in a 1-yard touchdown pass from Brady to Scott Chandler.
