2 zebras flee circus, run through west Philadelphia streets
A pair of zebras escaped their human captors on Sunday, fleeing in a blaze of striped glory from the the UniverSoul Circus outside the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.

There were no reports of injuries to the zebras or people in the area.
The zebras dashed off on the circus’s last day in Philadelphia, Hank Ernest, a UniverSoul spokesman told the Daily News.
Witnesses took to social media to post photos and video footage of the animals running through the streets before police confirmed their recapture at about 3 p.m. Sunday.
On twitter, police said the animals were already sporting old-time prison outfits ahead of trial and sentencing. Via police radio chatter, it was ascertained that two of the zebras were loose, however, most recent reports confirm that at least one zebra has been captured. “I’ve never seen a zebra on City Line Avenue”.
