Republicans: It’s all about beating Hillary Clinton
Ms. Clinton pledged to fight total privatization of veteran healthcare, but said she would allow the government to work with private providers on a few services, according to the report.
The former Hewlett-Packard CEO blamed the mainstream media for not taking the Democratic frontrunner to task after Clinton simply laughed when a man told her he wanted to “strangle” Fiorina.
“I can understand why someone who is laid off might feel badly about it”, she said. But she has opposed the US entering a larger ground war in the Middle East to combat the rise of Islamic militants.
As the February 1 caucuses draw ever nearer – 80 days and counting – candidates and their surrogates are picking up the pace in making the case for their respective presidential campaigns.
“I know that Buffalo still has a really important place in her heart and when she’s President of the United States she will not forget us”, said Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul.
As of now, Clinton has no other scheduled visits to New Hampshire.
This is while a 54-percent majority of the survey participants said they have made up their minds on support for the former Clinton.
“Every time I see her on TV, I want to reach through and strangle her”, said Fred Walsh, as the rest of the crowd laughed.
Clinton’s strong statements are an attempt to placate veterans, who are furious at remarks she delivered while on MSNBC with Rachel Maddow. Then she laid off over 40,000 people.
But that’s not to say she thinks Republicans are right.
Clinton stopped in Derry on the second leg of her latest Granite State swing – rolling out plans to fix Veterans Affairs in front of veterans and hyping her economic plans before a room full of college business students.
“For her to accuse me and my Republican colleagues of wanting to “privatize” the VA is, of course, inaccurate and offensive”, Arizona Sen.
Meanwhile, Republican National Committee press secretary Allison Moore called for Clinton to immediately apologize.
