On the next play, Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson raced 80 yards for a touchdown that wrapped up the defeat. The Vikings are now tied with the suddenly vulnerable Green Bay Packers atop the NFC North division at 6-2. I don’t see Minnesota slowing them down much in this game. With or without him, Minnesota isn’t built for the type of high-scoring shootouts in which the Raiders are thriving.
Carr’s other numbers (2,094 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, four interceptions, 63.7 completion percentage) are well above Bridgewater’s and stack up well alongside two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers (1,937 yards, 19 TDs, three INTs, 64.7 completion). We’re positive and upbeat.
The analysis says that Oakland is a potential false favorite IF Bridgewater is 100% healthy.
“We just keep doing what we’ve been doing and that’s working hard”, Jackson said. “Those are things we can correct and things that aren’t like us as a defense”.
The Odds: The Vikings are 3 point favorites against the Raiders.
The Derek Carr-Teddy Bridgewater debate could rage on for a decade, but in a lot of ways, it stands to be ruled as an early no-contest.

That was short-lived as Patterson bobbled a squib kick from Sebastian Janikowski before taking it back all the way untouched for his third career kick return touchdown, making it 20-14 at the break.
Being listed as doubtful doesn’t mean Hudson absolutely won’t play – the Raiders elevated TJ Carrie from out to a starting role once this year – but coach Jack Del Rio said they are prepared to move ahead with fourth-year player Tony Bergstrom.
