Black Friday 2015 deals start on Thanksgiving, but not in MA

You won’t find any new iPhones but Apple does cut prices on Black Friday for refurbished products in the online shop.

After the early leak of an image that showed the different promotional prices for games and gadgets online by Walmart, the retailer store made it a free download through its app, according to sources.

As usual, Walmart will start Black Friday on Thanksgiving at 6 p.m. while online deals will be available when the clock strikes 12:01 a.m. Pacific time.

Amazon has already started their Black Friday sales on their website, and plans to include deals everyday through the holiday season.

The November and December shopping period is a crucial time for retailers because it accounts on average for 20 percent of the retail industry’s annual sales.

“We will not be beat on pricing this holiday season”, said Steve Bratspies, chief merchandise officer for Walmart USA on a call with reporters Thursday.

All that means you can expect a big turnout for this year’s Black Friday and Thanksgiving evening sales across the state, analysts say.
