Paris attacks: Julie Bishop says no Australians confirmed killed or injured
In an interview on ABC news, Mr Keenan said that Australians were protected by the best security and intelligence services in the world.

AUSTRALIA stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of France and with all free people in the battle against terrorism, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says.
Ms Bishop said there were about 2,500 Australians registered as presently in France, but expected the actual number to be much higher.

In the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks, Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has advised Australian citizens in the city to stay indoors.
Australian man John Leader, 46, and his 12-year-old son, Oscar told how they were forced to lie on top of bloodied bodies to escape the bullets of shooters in Paris’ Bataclan theatre, where most of the attack victims died.
“It’s too early for us to be confirming any particular numbers”, Ms Bishop said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this awful time”, Turnbull said in a statement from Berlin.

He that that while “we can’t pretend the risk is not there”, Australia’s security agencies work constantly to ensure these attacks do not occur.
