AKRON, OH Authorities confirmed Wednesday that nine people were killed when a small business jet crashed into an apartment building, and seven of them were employees or executives in a Florida real-estate company.
With no survivors and no sign of a distress call from the plane that slammed into an Akron apartment house, investigators are searching elsewhere for clues about what caused the fiery crash.

The safety board is also in the process of reviewing the plane’s maintenance records, Dinh-Zarr said. “It is heavily burned, and that what lies the problem with the recovery at this point, and that’s why we have the specialists”, Haymaker said.
