Minnesota Vikings grind out fifth win in a row

The Raiders’ offense has been a thing of beauty and honestly might very well be the best offense in the AFC West. If this document somehow traveled back in time by a year, people would have assumed I was a literal insane person with that statement, especially if I said that Michael Crabtree was one of the main reasons that the offense would take off. Crabtree’s renaissance has been a thing of beauty and it is looking more and more like he wasn’t as much of a, “sorry ass receiver” as a few people previously assumed. He’s fast. He’s patient. However, he showed the Oakland Raiders that you still have to respect his talent, especially in the return game.

The impact: The Raiders saw a brief lead turn into a halftime deficit in a 30-14 loss to Minnesota on Sunday.

Carr has put them in the position of a legitimate playoff team with a bright future ahead, which is something that hasn’t been said about Oakland in over a decade. It doesn’t matter now. Patterson angled toward the left sideline, got a wall of blockers and turned on the jets, sprinting into the end zone for his third career kickoff return TD and first since his rookie season in 2013 when he had two.
