17-Year-Old girl Stabbed To Death By Fellow Teenager

Police took Olivia Smith into custody at the scene after authorities say 17-year-old Abbey Hebert died from her injuries in her own front yard.

Cobb police responded to a person stabbed call around 8:49 a.m. November 14 at a home in the 3100 block of Blowing Wind Court in unincorporated Acworth.

Cobb County police said Hebert was stabbed to death Saturday morning.

Cobb County police are investigating the stabbing death of an Allatoona High School student that was stabbed to death.

“Blue eyes basically told her whole life story … she was very loved”, said Savanna, Hebert’s best friend since first grade.

Smith stands charged with murder and is being held without bond.

The motive and relationship between Smith and Hebert was not clear.

Chilton says the incident remains under investigation.
