Blake Shelton Saves Strangers Stranded In Mud Hole In Oklahoma
The country singer then said he would be back in 15 minutes to get his tractor.
Country singer Blake Shelton has been deemed a “hero” by a bunch of men who were stranded at Washita River in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Bryar Blanton, cousin Lenyell and close buddies Adrian and Josh were at the river near the city of Ravia where they found themselves in a scary situation.
Blake Shelton is not just a great singer but also a person with a huge heart. During Tropical Storm Bill, earlier this year, Shelton helped a man tow his stalled truck up a hill and then gave him a ride home to his wife.
“We were at the river looking and slid off into a mud hole for about two hours”, Blanton said. Thereafter, he and his friend Adrian started walking and Blake stopped and asked if they needed a few help, E!Online reports.
Shelton tried to get the men out using his truck, but when that didn’t work, he told the men to wait while he went to get his tractor.
Shelton did his best to get them out of the mud hole, but was unsuccessful. Shelton spends a lot of time in Oklahoma, where he was born and grew up, and even has a home there. “He’s a good fella I think; I like him”.
Blanton thanked Shelton on Twitter. On Twitter, he jokingly posted about the boys “stay[ing] outta jail” now that they’re out of the mudhole.
Blake Shelton is playing the part of good Samaritan.
