Explosive new Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage released
According to Collider, the official runtime for one of the most anticipated movies of all time is clocking in at 135 minutes, or two hours and fifteen minutes. Season of the Force will bring new Star Wars-themed attractions and merchandise to Disneyland, starting on November 16. Lawrence Kasdan revealed to EW that they started over from scratch. “We had so little time that you can’t allow yourself to get stuck, you just keep moving forward all the time”.
As buzz surrounding Star Wars: The Force Awakens reaches fever pitch around the world, the veteran actor, above, who plays Han Solo in the franchise, is expected to jet to Sydney to engage with fans ahead of the premiere on December 17. Of course, Michael Arndt still shares a screenwriting credit with Abrams and Kasdan, so it couldn’t have been completely “from scratch” as Kasdan puts it. “And I think the First Order is a really deadly drug”.
Rick Carter’s image is described as a “Nuremberg-esque rally for the new legion of evil, the First Order”. Rick Carter himself wouldn’t offer too many details on the photo, stating that, “It’s more than just a rally”.
Here’s the photo showing a display found at Disneyland confirming how it works and what Kylo Ren’s red lightsaber is. The grill of Rey’s speeder was from a 1922 Aston Martin that art director Gary Tomkins photographed when visiting a United Kingdom vintage racing vehicle event called the Goodwood Revival in hopes of finding inspiration for Episode VII. Actress Daisy Ridley also shared an amusing story about a scene where she flies the Millennium Falcon. To say that I’m jealous of the people that get to experience this is an understatement. The gargantuan lair where Darth Vader and the Empire did their misdeeds was so imposing that it instantly became shorthand for any evildoer’s abode.
