Wisconsin Issues Amber Alert for 3-Year-Old Aubri Degefferred

WDJT-TV reports the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was acting on citizen information.

A girl who celebrated her 3rd birthday two weeks ago is missing after the vehicle she was riding in was carjacked Sunday.

Aubri Degefferred was found safe in Jefferson.

A suspect approached the vehicle that Aubri was in and forced the driver out and fled in the auto with the child.

It has a Wisconsin license plate of 409-XBP. She was wearing a black sweater with Snoopy on it, a blue jacket, and red Timberland boots.

Milwaukee Police thanked the public and all those who assisted with locating Aubri Degeffered. He got away in a red 2013 Volvo with a three-year-old girl inside.

Milwaukee police believe the same man who stole the vehicle also tried to rob a business with a weapon in the town of Brookfied at 7:35 p.m.

That’s about 50 minutes after the SUV was stolen near 45th and Chambers.

“The suspect is described as black male, between the ages of 28 and 29, standing 5’8” tall, with a “stocky” build – wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, black jeans and black gloves.
