Charlie Sheen Is Allegedly HIV Positive & Making Announcement On ‘Today Show’
Charlie Sheen is HIV-positive, according to multiple reports in the gossip media.
NBC News says it has actor Charlie Sheen for “a revealing personal announcement” on Tuesday’s show.
The interview announcement came just hours after Radar Online reported that Charlie has been suffering from the HIV virus for years.
NBC News announced that Sheen will be making a “revealing personal announcement” but did not provide any further details of what he and Lauer would be discussing.
News source of the interview led RadarOnline & its sister magazine the National Enquirer to name the actor today.
Sheen, who in 2011 was named as the highest paid actor in Hollywood for earning $1.25 million per episode of “Two and a Half Men”, has been known as much for his offscreen antics as his film and television roles. “Charlie’s worst fear is that he will be remembered not as a great actor, but as someone who contracted the disease”.
And in a bombshell revelation, Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, claimed the father of her twin sons “potentially” infected her with HIV.
Variety has reached out to Sheen’s reps for comment on the National Enquirer’s report. HollywoodLifers, we think Charlie is so courageous for sharing his story and our thoughts go out to him and his family.
