Dixie Chicks Are Making A Comeback With A North American Summer Tour

This 2016 run will mark the Grammy-winning trio’s first major USA tour since the Accusations & Accidents World Tour in 2006. The Dixie Chicks got back together for a Canadian tour in 2013, but has not played a series of USA dates in years. They toured with The Eagles in 2010 – a 2010 Hersheypark date with The Eagles, Keith Urban and the Dixie Chicks was canceled – and then headlined a Canadian tour in 2013.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for the concert, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016.

The Dixie Chicks have won 13 Grammys and sold more than 30 million albums. They also dominated country radio with 11 Top 10 singles, including “I Can Love You Better”, “Cowboy Take Me Away” and “Goodbye Earl”.
Lost in the hubbub over today’s Florida Strawberry Festival lineup announcement is word of another huge country music event coming to Tampa Bay. The show will be part of the group’s first United States tour in more than a decade, and follows a tour of Europe that begins in April.
