A petition urging Canadians to take back garbage it dumped in the Philippines has collected almost 40,000 signatures and was recently readdressed to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau through the Canadian Embassy in Manila. Minister Freeland’s job will be to shepherd both agreements through Parliament.

“We are ushering in a new era of openness and transparency in Canada”.
Trudeau says he believes a free and independent press is an essential part of a strong democracy. “I am confident such measures will lead to better decision-making and results for Canadians”. If true, that could fuel fears of ISIS sleeper agents posing as refugees to slip into Western countries. Leaders will be discussing exactly what he campaigned on during the election: more infrastructure spending to spur economic growth; more action on climate change; more help for Syrian refugees.
