RI gas prices same as national average; Mass. prices lower

AAA says gas prices statewide have dropped 17 cents per gallon in the last week.

Average retail gas prices throughout the state have fallen 2.9 cents per gallon in the past week, bringing the average to $2.21/g on Sunday (Nov. 15).

The Energy Information Administration says that gas prices at the pump will average a nickel less per gallon in 2016 than it forecast just a month ago.

Several stations in west MI lowered pump prices for regular below the $2 mark over the weekend.

Terrorist attacks in France do not appear to be impacting oil prices, and gasoline prices are expected to continue heading downward, Gasbuddy said Monday.

In central OH, the low prices were in the $1.80s, according to GasBuddy.com, a website affiliated with Kloza’s company.

Last week, gasoline prices fell in much of the US because of lower oil prices.

The average price of gas in Baton Rouge has gone up almost two cents in the past week, according to reports.

On Friday afternoon, cash prices were $1.99 at Bono, 1401 75th St., and Lou Perrine’s, 5145 Sheridan Road. That’s down 7 cents from a week ago and 25 cents from a month ago. In Metropolis, prices are ranging $1.95 to $2.00.in Paris, Tn, prices are ranging from $1.79 to $2.26 a gallon.
