Trump Goes “Off the Rails”
It’s a sure bet that the Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton’s people have enough dirt on Trump to bury him up to his pompadour and then a few. Then he said, “How stupid are the people of Iowa?”
Later on Friday, Trump’s campaign posted a Friday the 13th-themed horror-movie video about Carson, and the stories concerning whether or not Carson was really as angry a young man as he’s made himself out to be.
The candidate started by mocking Carson’s descriptions of his violent outbursts as a youth.
When Donald Trump declared his candidacy for President of the United States we expected him to provide comic relief for the electorate, to be a nuisance to the serious contenders, and to walk away after a couple of months to pursue other entertainment and business opportunities.
What Trump said about Ben Carson doesn’t even rank among the most absurd things he has said during his campaign.
What’s less talked about is that if Trump does decide he is mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, the collapse that follows might have as much – if not more – impact on the 2016 Republican race than his rise to the top of the polls did.
Trump’s speech, which at times seemed to edge close to meltdown territory, was a change from recent behavior for the Republican presidential contender, who has appeared to be trying to tone down his rhetoric to broaden his appeal.
“Weak on illegal immigration”. Throughout the campaign, Republican voters have gravitated to Trump for speaking his mind and being unencumbered by what they perceive as the stifling weight of “political correctness” that keeps other candidates from being as bold.
On Thursday night, though, the real Donald Trump stood up. But as the rally wore on, the enthusiasm lessened as several people in the crowd of about 1,500 shook their heads or whispered to their neighbors.
During an interview with CNN, he repeated his accusation that Carson had a “pathological” temper, quoting directly from Carson’s book, adding that it equates to the sickness of a child molester.
“If you’re pathological, there’s no cure for that”, Trump said. “Now if you’re pathological there’s no cure for that folks”, he said. “If you’re a child molester, there’s no cure”.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is also not doing too well with primary as only four percent say they would support him. He wrote that on one occasion he almost punched his mother and on another he attempted to stab a friend with a knife. “Believe me it ain’t going to work”.
“It hit the belt, and the knife broke”, Trump said, after pulling out an imaginary knife and thrusting it toward the audience.
In sum, Carson’s response to Trump saying that the doctor is incurably “pathological” was to didactically explain that such a person could be cured!
That being said, it’s time for Donald Trump to watch his back this time.
“I can leave this scumbag here the press alone”. “God heard my deep cries of anguish”. “Over time, that will take a toll – I hope”. “I felt different. I was different”. Trump said, referring to Carson’s newly found high standing in the state.
“How stupid are the people of Iowa?” he said.
