Global Television replaces episode of Supergirl due to attacks in Paris
On Monday, November 16, CBS originally planned to air episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles that tackled terrorist-related subject matter. According to Entertainment Weekly (EW), the episode “Livewire” will air instead of “How Does She Do It?”, in which Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must deal with a series of bombings in National City.
CBS did not state when the previously scheduled episodes of “Supergirl” and “NCIS: LA” would air. Showtime’s “Homeland” opened Sunday’s show with a disclaimer that said, “In light of this week’s tragic events in Paris, we remind viewers that “Homeland” contains content that a few may find upsetting”. “In its place, CBS will now air the “Livewire” episode, which THR says, “…revolve[s] around Danver’s relationship with her foster mother played by Helen Slater”. New episodes that were scheduled to air later in the season will take their place.
The network temporarily dropped both episodes.
CBS has also replaced this weeks episode of NCIS: Los Angeles which focuses on a terrorist group. While you wait for our recap hit the comments and let us know how excited you are for the season 7 episode 8.
