John Kerry in Paris to Consult With French Leaders on Attack
PARIS (AP) – U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in Paris meeting with French officials to go over plans to respond to last week’s attacks and bring an end to the conflict in Syria.

Among those killed in Friday’s attacks was a 23-year-old US exchange student, Nohemi Gonzalez, who was dining at a restaurant fired upon by gunmen. Francois Hollande has vowed to “destroy” so-called Islamic State, saying France will intensify its campaign in Syria.
USA officials said Kerry would meet with senior French officials as well as U.S. Embassy staff and their families.
“They are in fact psychopathic monsters”.
Kirby said Kerry will reiterate America’s commitment to the strong U.S.-France relationship, express condolences to the victims of the attacks and reiterate the shared resolve to counter violent extremism in France and elsewhere.
