Just don’t try to visit it. The major worldwide tourist attraction that normally boasts of being open 365 days a year has been closed indefinitely, according to the news agency Agence France-Presse.
On Friday night, eight extremists wearing explosive belts attacked several venues across Paris, killing 129 people at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France stadium.
A Springfield man was on top of the Eiffel Tower when the deadly terrorist attacks began in Paris and he got his trip short after all the closures.
In Los Angeles, the second-largest U.S. city, police stepped up patrols at concerts and other places with large crowds.
Since the scary attack, the famous landmarks in Paris have been closed.
A city famed for its glamour and bustling streets seemed garbed in mourning as Parisians struggled with the shock of the multiple attacks that claimed scores of lives.
Londoners also gathered in Trafalgar Square on Saturday in solidarity with the French people.
“[The attacks are] obviously likely to significantly hit the Paris economy in the near term, and there could also be a knock-on effect elsewhere in France”, said Howard Archer, the chief European economist at IHS.
“All the museums were closed, all the schools were closed”.
A few say this is the right approach.

Public events in Paris have been canceled.
Tourist operators hope so.
“I was overwhelmed that so many people used it”, he said in an e-mail to the Associated Press. The next day he and other walked around but much of the city was shut down. In January, terrorists killed 17 people in attacks on Charlie Hebdo magazine and a Jewish supermarket.
Metro’s Homeland Security Division is monitoring the attacks like they do “whenever there is a terrorist attack anywhere in the world”, spokesman officer Larry Hadfield said.
One is the Eiffel Tower, typically a bright beacon of light near the banks of the Seine River.
