Aditya Roy Kapur Shares His Happy-Sad Feeling On His Birthday

Aditya Roy Kapoor, who is busy shooting for “Fitoor” turns a year older today, November 16. The pairing that debuted as lead actors in the romantic flick, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, is considered to be one of the iconic pairs of Bollywood. This romantic film will be the official Hindi remake Mani Ratnam’s hit Tamil film ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’. The unit of “Fitoor” has also planned a little surprise for the actor, who turned 30-year-old today.

Aditya has dedicated the last one year entirely to Fitoor and interestingly last year, Aditya had given his first shot for Fitoor on his birthday.

Post the shoot, Aditya will catch up with his family and friends. While Aditya and Shraddha wear the shoes of two commitment phobic individuals who decide to live in together, their landlord will be portrayed by Prakash Raj, who played the same role in the original film.

“The Hindi screenplay is being co-written by Mani Ratnam and Shaad Ali. It will be directed by Shaad Ali”. Shaad began his film career as an assistant director on Ratnam’s 1998 directorial, “Dil Se.’ and collaborated with him again on Guru in 2007 and the Tamil “Raavanan”, which was remade as Raavan in Hindi in 2010 with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. As for my birthday plans, the celebrations will be with just a few close friends and family”.
